This assignment was to draw something in 1 point perspective. I chose to draw an image of a dock on a lake with mountains in the background. One thing I did well was having a wide range of values. I have dark shades in the mountains and poles and then lights in the clouds and water. I also think I did well at creating different textures, especially in the wood dock and water. I think I had good contrast throughout my drawing. For example, you can easily tell where the shadows of the poles are. One thing I could work on is creating more movement in the water. I created a different texture but it's hard to tell if the water is turbulent or still. I think the proportions are balanced and the drawing has good unity because everything goes to the vanishing point.
