The objective of this assignment was to draw three objects from observation that somehow represent you. The three objects I drew were a hat, sunglasses, and basketball metal. I think I did well at creating a wide range of values. I have the dark value in the sunglasses and then the white highlights in the hat. I also think that I did well at making the hat look like a different texture and cloth like. There is an obvious contrast between the shades of the shadows and the table which makes it more realistic. One thing I could work on is balancing the objects more to the center of the paper. Overall I think the piece has good unity since all the objects are touching and look cohesive.
