​The objective of this assignment was to draw yourself from observation. One thing I think I did well on was creating texture in the hair. I created this look by using different line qualities. I also think that the drawing had good balance. My face is centered and is not too high or low on the page. I like the contrast between the lighter background and darker hair. Also, I think the background helps emphasize the focus on the face itself because the shading gets darker as it gets closer to the edges. One thing I would focus more on if I were to do it again would be the shading and proportions on my face to make it look more realistic.
