This assignment was to take 6 photos that represent winter. My favorite photo is the one of my dogs because I think the editing really made the photo better. To do this, I increased the exposure and took out some of the shadows. My least favorite photo is the third photo because there is not really an obvious main subject but I do like the editing for that one. I am pleased with my backgrounds because I think that almost all of them contrast the subject of the photo well. Also the pictures with the sunset backgrounds allowed me to edit the colors and make the photo more vibrant. To select these photos, I chose to take pictures of things I found had an interesting or beautiful shape or color. For example, the interesting shape of the dripping icicle in the fifth photo. To help improve my photos next time, I think I should try to take some photos from different angles or in unique ways.
